Originally from Namibia, Mark holds a BA in Popular Music Performance from BIMM University and moves between fusion, jazz, funk, rock and metal. His band Tioga played Prog Night ’26 and released its debut single ‘Select Difficulty’.

Guitar questions, answered
Do I need my own guitar?
No. Guitars and amps are set up and ready at our guitar school in Berlin-Mitte. For home practice, your mentor advises on what to get, and when.
From what age can kids learn guitar?
Bandclass Kids takes guitarists from 7 to 17. Mini Rockers (ages 4 to 6) builds rhythm and melody playfully before your kid plugs in.
Electric or acoustic?
Your call. We are a rock school, so electric guitar lessons in Berlin are our core, and acoustic works too.
Are guitar lessons available in English?
Yes. We run guitar lessons in English in Berlin as standard: all sessions run in English and German, and mentors switch mid-song if needed.
Can complete beginners start?
Yes. Beginner guitar lessons in Berlin are our home turf: no experience needed, all equipment provided, and the band carries you from session one.
